Jack White has expanded his set of Blunderbuss tour dates in Europe, adding shows in Spetmber that include stops in Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, Zurich, London, Stockholm and more. Check out the full set of new shows or check out the full tour schedule. Then watch his new video for "Freedom at 21."
 
 
Stars have a new album coming out titled The North on ATO Records. It arrives Sept. 4 and today they've released the second track from the album with "Hold On When You Get Love and Let Go When You Give it." The Stars tour kicks up in September - October and it includes a number of shows with Metric. Also check out the previously released song "The Theory of Relativity."
 
Matt and Kim will release their new album Lightning on on Oct. 2 via FADER and it was "recorded by the Brooklyn duo in their Grand Street apartment and features ten outstanding tracks written in true Matt and Kim fashion." They have a few shows scheduled, the Catalpa Festival in New York and the Summer Set Music Festival in the rock and roll mecca of Somerset, WI.

Have YouTube fatigue? Tired of Vimeo? You might want to check out the newly revamped Daily Motion for your band's next live stream webcast or video launch. GigaOm is saying that they're "adding a slate of new features including improved live streaming, DRM support and extra money-making services. All of these, it hopes, can make it a significant competitor to other professional video hosting services like Brightcove and Ooyala."
 
The judge from the Megaupload lawsuit is stepping down because of comments he made at a recent conference in which he called the U.S. government "the enemy". He said a paper he "delivered on copyright law at a recent internet conference could reflect on his impartiality and that the appropriate response is for him to step down from the case." this could be a break for Kim Dotcom, unless the new judge is less inclined to support his case.
