Only a block or so away, The Palomino, proved to be the perfect bedtime nightcap. Craig Finn was performing a mix of beatnik storytellying and folksy acoustic songs for a small crowd in the dimly lit basement of the Palomino. It smelled like old library books and the air was warm, I was basically lullabied to sleep.
