Passion Pit fans are feeling the pain of some cancelled shows due to health issues for lead guy Michael Angelakos, but will still be hitting major festivals:

"Thanks to everyone for all of their love and support throughout these past couple weeks. While we're excited to see you over the next two weekends at Lollapalooza, Osheaga and Outside Lands, we're sorry to let you know that we need to postpone our upcoming weekday shows in Colorado and Salt Lake City in order for Michael to continue to improve his mental health and complete a procedure that week."

Exitmusic are going on tour in Europe, with stops at both the Iceland Airwaves Festival and lots of shows in the UK and Germany. Check out their song "The Sea" via MP3, or "Passage" via stream and watch their KEXP performance.

The Mountain Goats are reminding us that their new album Transcendental Youth arrives on Merge Records on Oct. 2, while dropping new music with the song “Cry for Judas” on Soundcloud.

Hot Chip dropped their "How Do You Do" video today, with the reminder that "they've also been selected to soundtrack the London 2012 Olympics," turns out they've been matched up with creating the table tennis theme (?). Check out the video and remember Hot Chip when you're watching the 2012 London Olympics.
