Jason Lytle of Grandaddy is releasing a new album called Dept. of Disappearance on Oct. 16 on Anti-Records, with a Granddady reunion tour in tow. It's the follow-up release to Yours Truly in 2009, and Dept. Of Disappearance will see Jason Lytle continuing to experiment with different types of gears and sounds, making this album an extension of the foundation he laid on Yours Truly. "I have a lot of gear, from conventional and traditional to super-fucked and broken. And once those sounds get into the computer, it opens a whole other realm of 'tweakery,'" he said. Check out the album's title track at Soundcloud.
