Deerhoof have seen a resurgence of activity lately with the announcement of their new album Breakup Song, now the San Francisco band has released the first song via Soundcloud with “The Trouble With Candyhands.” Deerhoof have re-engineered their sound on Breakup Song, choosing a Cuban influence to go with their noise pop sound, calling it "Cuban-flavored party-noise-energy music." It's a nice spin on things, check out Breakup Song on Polyvinyl Records on Sept. 4.
