This page is updated periodically through out the day, so come back for updates. There will be a new Spacelab Collective each day. All times US CST, or GMT - 5:00
Busdriver will be touring in Europe and then southern US shows, as announced today. Also released today: the new Busdriver video for "Utilitarian Uses Of Love" created by Chris Coats.
Sub Pop folk band Poor Moon have scheduled more Fall tour dates with labelmates Beach House. The band is supporting their self-titled debut album that will be released on Aug. 28. Download or stream their song "Birds" below.
The New Yorker calls Balmorhea "slow burning, wordless, and ambient Americana," so check it out for yourself and post your thoughts below. If you dig it, they're touring in support of their album Stranger, out October 2nd on indie label Western Vinyl. Of course, there's also a tour, with a stop at the FunFunFun Fest in November.
Imagine this ... Imagine Dragons fuse house and electro into pop sounds. Their song "It's Time" is nominated for an MTV VMA for Best Rock Video against The Black Keys, Coldplay, Jack White and Linkin Park. No pressure guys. Check out remixes of the song below, part of an iTunes album released today ... should you dig this you can always catch them on the very real Imagine Dragons tour.
Danish electro-punk ... not a genre that sees much time in these parts, but interesting all the same, as practiced by Reptile Youth. Their new video for 'Shooting Up Sunshine' comes from their self-titled debut album, and was produced by Dave M. Allen (The Cure, Sisters of Mercy) and Marc Ralph (Hot Chip), and has a release date of Oct. 23.
