The Corin Tucker Band is back with a new video from their freshly released album Kill My Blues (which arrives today via Kill Rock Stars). We've heard previews earlier this Summer with "Groundhog Day" as well as the preview of the song "Neskowin" which you can still but as a single from the band via Bandcamp. As for Corin and the Corin Tucker Band, the band has grown over the years into what they feel is a cohesive group. “After the past two years playing together, traveling and making music, I think we’re more comfortable. We collaborated on every song on this record and no one was shy about their ideas. I think you can hear that sense of joy and abandon in the songs.”
Which represents a build on what she set out to do with the band. Back in 2010, she released the album 1000 Years and said back then she wasn't trying to take on the world, saying "I don’t have the mentality that I’m going to change the world. I’ve enjoyed the movements I’ve been a part of – I think I did something for them, too. But now I’m more moderate in my career goals. I want to enjoy my life. I don’t have to turn it over to the machine."
