New Order fans have a lot going for them right now. It looks a busy year coming up for the band with a variety of events and happenings. Keyboardist Gillian Gilbert told Rolling Stone that New Order has a number of things happening over the next 12-15 months, including the release of The Lost Sirens, a collection of outakes from the 2005 album Waiting for the Sirens' Call (seven songs) in November of this year; a possible recording of an entirely new album of New Order material, and even shows (a whole tour!) in both North and South America. "It's like starting afresh because we don't know what we're gonna do next. Instead of having years planned ahead, we can just do what we want," she said. |
