There's a new Toro Y Moi album coming from Chaz Bundick next year, one that see's him experimenting again with the direction and sounds that he draws influence from. It seems like every new song, mix and album is an evolution of sorts, and the new album Anything In Return promises to double down on that.

"I was trying to make a pop record. People will be like, ‘What is he doing?' I'm just trying to make sincere pop music that's not all processed and bubblegum. Underground isn't always relevant; I want to see what's popular, then put my own spin on it," he told Interview Magazine about the idea behind the new music. The new album Anything In Return arrives on Jan. 22 via Carpark Records.
