Listen to Toro Y Moi - “So Many Details” (stream)

More great experimentation from Chaz Bundick and his Toro Y Moi project, this time with the song "So Many Details" which is from his Anything In Return album due out on Jan.22 on Carpark Records. It's funky ... like some 70's-influenced psychedelic Xanadu/The Wiz crossover playground.

"I was trying to make a pop record. People will be like, ‘What is he doing?' I'm just trying to make sincere pop music that's not all processed and bubblegum. Underground isn't always relevant; I want to see what's popular, then put my own spin on it," he told Interview Magazine about the idea behind the new music. The new album Anything In Return arrives on Jan. 22 via Carpark Records.
