| This brings a whole new definition to your wildest party exploits happening at SXSW ... because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? That means you can go completely wild at the new SXSW Las Vegas in 2013, it might actually be encouraged. So it is for SXSW Las Vegas, formally titled SXSW V2V, with four days of panels, workshops and hedonism in America's city of sin.
The defining festival story for 2013 seems to be multiple festivals: Coachella, Austin City Limits, Ultra Music Festival ... and now SXSW. It's like the franchising of music festivals USA ... except the franchising is all being done by the people that started the festivals, keeping it in house. Apparently XSW organizers received so many good ideas with SXSW PanelPicker, that they have more than enough to do both Austin AND Las Vegas.
There's no word yet on bands, although I've contacted festival organizers to find out more. In the meantime, check out the scene at sxswv2v.com/
