The Antlers released their new video today for the song Drift Dive, off of their album Undersea. "Considering all that’s just happened in NYC, today is a strange day to debut our new video, but it feels oddly appropriate too. James Case-Leal created this beautiful piece to accompany “Drift Dive”. We hope it provides you with some comfort in the face of all this devastation." Said The Antlers on their web site, which suggests that they might have been planning to release this for a while but the release date strangely coincided with the hurricane.
Also check out the video for “Crest” and Tricky's remix of the the same song, which is available as a free MP3 download from the band.
Undersea is the follow-up release to last year's Burst Apart, which was recorded at their then new recording studio, one that likely is where Undersea was created. "We moved into our own recording studio in September 2010, and spent essentially every waking hour working on Burst Apart, producing the record ourselves, with Darby at the helm engineering," said the band at the time.
