At last ... the How to destroy angels_ - An omen_ EP as full album stream, giving us all a first listen before the EP's release date on Nov. 13. There's lots of variety here, from the gurgling synthesizer pops that so infectuously populate "Keep It Together" to the plucks of the second track "Ice Age." "On the Wing" gets distant and detached. The An omen_ EP arrives next week via Columbia Records, and a full length album due sometime next year.

Last week saw the How to destroy angels_ “Keep It Together” video released online, and last month, the song was released as a stream, plus a Dave Sitek remix of the song. Sitek (TV On the Radio) is the founder of the recording label Federal Prism. He launches into a lively remix, full of bleeps and a nice build-up that chops up the sound in the final seconds, building the tension nicely until it drops out to nothing at the end. How to destroy angels_ involves Trent Reznor, Mariqueen Maandig, Atticus Ross and Rob Sheridan. Also: check out the Trent Reznor remix of the Telepathe song "Destroyer" on Dave Sitek's label.
