Yo La Tengo Update: New Album Fade and Tour In 2013

It's Yo La excitement today if you're a Yo La Tengo fan, as the best news possible is happening ... a new Yo La Tengo and album and tour are happening next year. First up -- the album -- is titled Fade and will be released on Jan 14/15 on Matador Records. The labels says that it was "recorded with John McEntire at Soma Studios Electronic Studios in Chicago, ‘Fade’ is reminiscent of landmarks like 1997‘s ‘I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One’ and 2000’s ‘And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out’, but there’s no shortage of moments that stand far apart from anything the trio have done previously."

Matador is promising new music from the album tomorrow, in the meantime check out the Yo La Tengo tour dates with shows across North America that include shows with Calexico.
