After Going Down, Demonoid Tracker Comes Back Online

Torrent tracker and index Demonoid has gone back online, according to TorrentFreak, which reports the news that the Demonoid web site is still down, but the tracker is up an working. It had gone offline after suffering a denial of service attack (DDOS) over the Summer, but seems to be working on restoring order.

“You know how it goes with Demonoid. It might take a while but it will come back,” said the site's admin when speaking to TorrentFreak. Earlier in the Summer they mentioned that the Demonoid domain names had gone up for sale, saying "While it’s undoubtedly been a turbulent couple of weeks for Demonoid, its loyal users still had hope that one day the site might return. ArsTechnica said "According to the IP address linked to the tracker, the new host appears to be physically located in Hong Kong."
