Watch Sigur Rós - “Varúð” (video)

The latest installment from Sigur Ros in the Valtari Mystery Film Experiment is Varúð by Björn Flóki. The video and song set the tone with a solemn vibe, with lots of slow motion and a mellow song from the Valtari album. Björn Flóki said this about the video experience: "sigur rós has an ability to make sorrow beautiful. when i listen to varúð i feel this overlap and struggle between sadness and beauty, between darkness and light. an overwhelming feeling of being buried in darkness but being just barely able to escape into the light, if you try hard enough. this is the feeling i've tried to bring to the video."
