New Order Just Announced the Release Date For Lost Sirens

New Order has just announced plans for the release date of the album Lost Sirens, with a Facebook announcement that reads: "The much anticipated Lost Sirens is finally being released on January 22nd 2013. You can pre-order the Vinyl + CD version from Amazon.com ."

It's a collection of outakes from the 2005 album Waiting for the Sirens' Call. Keyboardist Gillian Gilbert told Rolling Stone that New Order has a number of things happening over the next 12-15 months, including the release of The Lost Sirens; a possible recording of an entirely new album of New Order material, and even shows (a whole tour!) in both North and South America. "It's like starting afresh because we don't know what we're gonna do next. Instead of having years planned ahead, we can just do what we want," she said.
