"Wait" is the next big single from post-shoegaze electronic act M83, and is part of a trilogy of videos. It was directed by Fleur & Manu and in collaboration with The Creators Project, and the directors had this to say: “Wait” is the final episode of the trilogy, the end point of this great visual collaboration that has been ongoing with M83 throughout 2012. We felt it was important to re-connect with a meaningful subject that would have an echo in today's world. The promise of a new cycle, seen through the kid's eyes.”

The M83 album Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming was released on Mute Records, and features appearances from Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Nine Inch Nails), Zola Jesus and Brad Laner (Medicine) as well as Morgan Kibby.

“I love composing music and making music with pictures in my head, it’s really what’s driving me. Cinema is the biggest influence for me - even bigger than music itself, so this album is built as a soundtrack, as an imaginary film. This is what we tried to convey with this trilogy. When I first talked with Fleur and Manu about this video project it was pretty obvious we wanted the same results. I think they were the perfect directors to achieve this…” said M83 main main Anthony Gonzales.

"It's a double album. It's mainly about dreams, how every one is different, how you dream differently when you're a kid, a teenager, or an adult. If you're doing a very long album, all the songs need to be different and I think I've done that with this one. Overall, it's pop — and very epic. Anyone who loved M83 before, they'll love this album even more. People that hated me, they're going to hate this, too," said M83 main man Anthony Gonzales when speaking to SPIN about Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming.
