Atoms For Peace have released a new song for download via their web site at atomsforpeace.info, and it's called "What The Eyeballs Did." Scroll over the landscape to the right, find the clock tower, and click on the clock. What you'll find is the song "What The Eyeballs Did" in MP3 format (groan, I know, but you were expecting FLAC files before the album release?). After that, you can watch five videos of an appearance by Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich iin LA from earlier this year.

MP3: Atoms For Peace - What The Eyeballs Did

The new album Amok arrives via XL Recordings in the US and there's even talk of an Atoms for Peace tour next year. A message from Thom reads "I'm still reeling from being on tour for much of the year but we are planning to get together and play etc next year ! We're figuring all that out right now. Atoms is a ongoing and open ended project, where it leads i know not for certain .... which is what is nice about it."

Earlier this year, Thom summed up the Atoms for Peace vibe / approach by saying "We got a big buzz from them and discovered loads of energy from transforming the music from electronic to live, and so afterwards, we carried on for a few days in the studio and decided to make it a loose, on-going thing. Immersed in the area between the two…electronic and live."
