Watch Darkstar - “Amplified Ease” (video)

Check out Warp Records act Darkstar performing live at The Asylum in London. The band has an energetic sort of vibe to them, something off-kilter but on-rhythm at the same time. They've said before that they're trying to move beyond grime and dubstep and into a different type of sound. The song performed here is "Amplified Ease," off of their new album News From Nowhere, which has a release date of Feb. 4/5.

James Young explains the vibe and direction for the cinematography behind the video: James Young: "We had been watching the Martin Scorcese documentary on George Harrison and took an interest in how he approached 'My Sweet Lord' as a mantra rather than a song. Amplified Ease began in a similar fashion, it was more of a repetitive chant different from a verse, chorus arrangement."
