Beck is looking for a big 2013 with the possible release of two new albums, according to comments in an NME interview. The future of how the music will be released in not clear yet, as Beck is clearly contemplating options on how to release it in the day and age of artists releasing shorter EPs and singles, alongside long-play albums. Right now, he's contemplating a Nashville-recorded full length album that he's cleary in no rush to push out the door, as well as a group of songs that may go out as singles, EPs or one big additional full length album.
"There is music and it's coming! I have this one record I started in 2008. It got put to the side for a long time but recently I've been mixing some of the songs. I'm not sure if they'll be singles or EPs or an album but it'll come out in some way and it sounds... sonically adventurous. I also have a record that I recorded last year in Nashville, which I may or may not finish," he said.
