The new SBTRKT live album that was mentioned last year on Twitter had a surprise release today. Pitchfork is reporting that it's now on iTunes, and when it was reported back in late November, the word was that it came from a Shepherd's Bush show outside of London in October. A quick check in iTunes reveals that it's not available in the US store yet, but is being offered in the UK store.
Aaron Jerome dropped word via Twitter that the final mixdown phase has been completed and is on it's way to be mastered. The new SBTRKT album is bluntly called Live, and was "filmed using 12 different cameras intended to capture the disparate elements of the show." There are two videos with the release as well ... for now you can check out the stream below with two of the songs from Live.
