This album has been a slow train comin': Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have been dealing with the aftermath of the death of Michael Been, father of bassist Robert Been and a touring friend with the band. "No one really wanted to find those words or dig in deep. So we were faking it for a while, not really digging that deep. You have to go back again and dig a bit deeper, and it was excruciating," said Robert Been.
Deeper they have dug, and the new album Specter At The Feast is complete and ready for release on Abstract Dragon and Vagrant Records with a release date of Mar. 18. They're promising "roaring guitars, atmospheric feedback, pounding left-of-center drumbeats," according to the current update from the band.
