The new Beach Fossils song "Generational Synthetic" from the forthcoming album Clash The Truth, which is due out on Feb. 19 on Captured Tracks. The noise pop / garage-ish band has two other full length albums out and used to include Cole Smith (DIIV) and John Peńa (Heavenly Beat) before they took on their other bands full time.

Beach Fossils frontman Dustin Payseur kept on though, bringing in other people and working on what would become the album Clash The Truth. As the press release states: "Instead of merely going from a "bedroom DiY" project to a "better fidelity studio project" the deliberate decision to work with Ben [Greenburg] was determined to capture, if not in style, the spirit and enthusiasm of punk and aggressive music in general. They nailed it, albeit in a more indie pop kind of way.
