The new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club album Specter At The Feast arrives this week, and in the run up to the release they've been slowly releasing videos as a BRMC Short Film Series. Check out all six of the videos in the player above, by clicking on the links below.
As for
Specter at the Feast, it's a much-anticipated album for the BRMC tribe. It's the first album since the death of Michael Been, father of bassist Robert Been and a touring friend with the band. "No one really wanted to find those words or dig in deep. So we were faking it for a while, not really digging that deep. You have to go back again and dig a bit deeper, and it was excruciating," said Robert Been.
Specter At The Feast arrives on the release date of Mar. 18 via Vagrant Records and BRMC's own Abstract Dragon imprint. The band says that the album will include "roaring guitars, atmospheric feedback, pounding left-of-center drumbeats" as part of the post-Michael Been era. It was recorded at Dave Grohl's studio in Los Angeles.
They've also recently released a free EP called the "Let The Day Begin" EP, which includes the title track from the old song from San Francisco post-punk band The Call. Check out a preview of that song here.
