Once down and no longer out, post-rock-metal band Baroness survived the outcome of their fateful tour bus accident in Bath, England last year and will resume touring again at the end of May. The band was touring in support of then-newly released album Yellow & Green when their bus went off a viaduct and left the band with injuries, with no prospect of touring any time soon after that. Their album was taking off, and they couldn't play any shows.
But they're back now, touring again for Yellow & Green, refusing to give up or give in. They lost a few band members for this tour: drummer Allen Blickle and bass player Matt Maggioni are not taking part. Nick Jost will take on bass guitar and Sebastian Thomson is on the animal skins.
"It's hard to find the words to express how excited we are to announce this tour. Seven months ago, who knew when it would be or even if we could get back on the road. But here we are, picking right back up where we left off,” said guitar player Pete Adams. John Baizley said more about the new tour and current situation here.
