The new video from Raleigh Moncrief in a cinematic gem. It's for the songs "Reflect That" and "First Person" and was directed by Francesco Lettieri. It's intentionally shot dark and moves in slow motion that sets the visual aesthetic of the music as perfect surreality.
The on/off approach of the synths and the melody creates a binary sound that moves up and down in pitch for variance, it turns out well as a way too hook you in and engage your ears. I'll skip the chillwave comparisons but will mention that there's an ephermal, echoey kind of sound space for the synths reminiscent of house or chill/downtempo, still this is not the Ultra Music brand of electronic music. It's wildly experimental, deeply mysterious and always keeps you guessing. It's part of the Dusted EP out now on Anticon Records.
