Frightened Rabbit dropped by The Current in Minneapolis for a live acoustic performance of their song "The Woodpile." The front and center aspect of the acoustic performance is a nice touch, personal and stripped down to its bare essence in a format that suits the band well. "The Woodpile" is from their new album Pedestrian Verse, and is part of a long trail of online offerings from the band, including videos and streams, which you can view below. The band also did an interview with The Current's Mary Lucia.

On Pedestrian Verse, the band seems to have grown into a fuller state of being, and the songs are solid and with depth. There's an almost rock sound to go with their classic indie folk approach, similar to The Fall or Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
