This is everything that's good about Bass Drum of Death: it's loud, brash and in your face, but backed by an indie pop foundation with roots in garage rock reverb and the ultimate of pop hooks. It's from the upcoming self titled Bass Drum of Death album, due out on June 25th via Innovative Leisure.

Front man John Barrett went all out to try and push his boundaries on this album, going to great lengths to always redefine: "I don't ever wanna feel stuck, like, 'I can't put bass on this because I didn't do that before.'" He even road-tested the sonics in his bad car stereo: "My car has the worst sound system ever. If I can get it to sound good in my car ... that's pretty good."
