Continuing their never-ending stream of videos over the past couple of weeks, The Flaming Lips have released a live performance of the title track from their new album The Terror. It's an in-studio thing, and follow on the heels of their lengthy series of videos called We Don't Control The Controls, in which the break down the songs on The Terror track by track. Check them out here.
Spacelab writer Corey Tate reviewed The Terror, saying "The Terror takes the awesomely big Flaming Lips persona and moves it firmly into new and more experimental territory ... they've moved to the dark side. It's not a downer, either ... they haven't removed any of the elements that made their music great over the years. The Terror is built on similar foundations to Yoshimi, The Soft Bulletin, any of the classics. The filter is different though, they've portrayed it in a completely different way."
