It seems like just yesterday that Sub Pop was cranking out Tad, Mudhoney and Nirvana albums ... now it's ready to turn the BIG 25. They released Sub Pop 1000 over the weekend for Record Store Day, it included "unreleased and exclusive tracks on silver vinyl limited to 5,000 copies. With Record Store Day behind us, Sub Pop has released Sub Pop 1000 as a full album stream, which you can listen to above. Check out the full tracklist below.

Sub Pop will also throw down with a party in Seattle on July 13 called The Silver Jubilee, which is basically a massive party disguised as a music festival. It’s "we are fairly certain there will be some combination of… Actual live bands, playing actual live music! Some sort of art-related something or other! Like, in a gallery space, we’re thinking! A record fair-type event! Food! Beer and wine!" So it's like an All Tomorrows Parties Festival with Sub Pop as the curator, only in Seattle instead of England and one epic day instead of three. They have a lineup that includes Mudhoney, J Mascis, Gregg Dulli and more. Check out who’s playing.
