Mike Patton's experimental alternative metal band Tomahawk tore up the Jimmy Fallon stage last night, performing the song "White Hats/Black Hats" off of their album Oddfellows. The band is made up of a motley crew of characters with wide-ranging influences. The band is: Duane Denison (the Jesus Lizard, Unsemble), Mike Patton (Faith No More, Fantômas) & John Stanier (Helmet, Battles) and Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Fantômas). Here's the biting/joking/mocking comment from the band on their tour, that they are in the midst of finishing:

"Rock and roll will be saved and destroyed. They plan to play live shows for the first time since 2003 and are willing to go anywhere as long as they can get a warm bed with cold pillows, a square meal and a boatload of cash."
