New indie pop music from Dent May is happening this Summer, with the album Warm Blanket on Aug. 27. The album arrives on the Animal Collective's Paw Tracks recording label. Mr. May recorded the album in a house in St. Augustine, Florida, an old Victorian house that reportedly was haunted. The influences reportedly range from existential pop, psychedelic funk, and melancholy soul. Check out the Warm Blanket album teaser below.

"Dent's most ambitious undertaking yet, Warm Blanket is another kaleidoscopic odyssey through the restless musical mind of a DIY pop auteur. He played almost all of the instruments on the album, making use of the house's antique grand piano and recruiting Florida locals to fill in on horns, strings, and pedal steel guitar," reads the press release.
