New Music Is On The Way From Tropic Of Cancer

Two new things to know about the lo-fi, shoegazey electronic music act Tropic of Cancer: The duo of Juan Mendez and Camella Lobo is now just a one-person act with Camella Lobo, and a new Tropic of Cancer release is happening this Summer with an advance single. Score!

The full-length ToC album is untitled at this point, but is being released on Blackest Ever Black and the single is the song "More Alone."  It was included on the Part Time Punks Radio Sessions that split time between Tropic of Cancer and HTRK ... check out the Tropic of Cancer song "A Color" here and the HTRK song “Synthetik” here. Look for the single in July and the album in September. It was produced by by Karl O'Connor.

Tropic of Cancer take the shoegaze aesthetic and mix it with electronic music, churn it over a slow BPM and crank up the reverb on the vocals.
