The second installment in the rad new The Art of Punk series from MOCAtv features the story behind the art from the anarchist punk band Crass. The British punks were early progenitors of the nexus between visual art and early punk music. Their take on art, politics, social satire and the protest movement as the punks inherited it from the hippies was translated through an onslaught of music and visual representation. Last week, MOCAtv debuted The Art Of Punk series with the story behind the Black Flag logo and art with interviews from Flea, Henry Rollins, Raymond Pettibon and more.
