It looks like Trent Reznor and David Lynch are going to work together on the new Nine Inch Nails video for the song "Came Back Haunted." Trent Reznor just sent out a Tweet with a photo of himself and David Lynch (see below) and the Internet consensus is quickly growing into believing that he'll be doing the work on the video. It is possible that the two could be working on a broader project ... we'll have to wait for the NIN camp to make it official before we know the details.

The new Nine Inch Nails album is called Hesitation Marks, it has a release date of Sept. 3rd on Columbia Records. There's also the new NIN song "Came Back Haunted" and a whole bunch of new Nine Inch Nails tour dates with Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

As far as the music on "Came Back Haunted," it's a nice reboot. The new Nine Inch Nails sounds reinvigorated after a break for Trent Reznor with movie soundtracks and how to destroy angels_. There's a nice mix of keyboards with a steadily progressing rhythm, building up the anxiety before kicking it over the top. Check it out below:

The NIN tour includes Godspeed! You Black Emporer and Explosions In The Sky as opening acts and promises to be one of the best of the year. Festival stops include Fuji Rock Festival, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Pukkelpop, Leeds Festival and the  Reading Festival.
