Amazon.com Lists Best Amazon Music So Far In 2013

Amazon.com just listed its Best Of Music, Movies and TV for 2013, giving us a complete look at who's buying what from the Amazon Music Store. It includes the Amazon music MP3 downloads as well as CDs and vinyl. There's some names you might expect from the indie music world, and more mainstream pop acts as well.

The always popular and ever-present Tegan & Sara are in on Amazon music mp3 downloads (for albums), alongside Vampire Weekend and Justin Timberlake. Daft punk leads the lists for CDs, vinyl Amazon.com picks. Also among the lists were David Bowie, The National, Phoenix and Vampire Weekend.

“Our customers continue to take advantage of our broad selection of both digital and physical entertainment choices while our editors, well-versed in their specific categories, consistently provide a mix of top choices from mainstream artists and blockbuster films to under-the-radar and genre specific entertainment helping spur new discovery for customers,” said Sarah Wood, the Amazon.com head of US entertainment.
