Matt & Kim are not being shy about their upcoming Lightning Remixes album, and today they've shared not only the release date but a lot more. The limited edition vinyl version shows the married / duo / band as naked as they day they were born in a Garden of Eden setting (see above). The album's packaging actually covers the hot spots with the reusable stickers.

The album is due out on Aug. 27 via the FADER label and arrives about a year after the original Lightning album was released. Matt & Kim looked to Salva, Bonde Do Role, Yung Skeeter, and Anamanaguchi and other to do their remix take on various songs.  They're looking for a crowdsourced remix too, check out the info from the contest at  Indaba Music to find out who more. Winners could be released on Spotify or win sound gear.
