The future looks great for the indietronic group Phantogram: the dynamic duo of Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter have laid big plans for the next year and a half. They'll release a new digital EP titled simply Phantogram today on Republic Records, then they'll tour behind the Phantogram EP this Fall and then release a new full-length album next year.

They've already released two songs from the album, called “Black Out Days” and “Celebrating Nothing.” Check out “Black Out Days” here, and listen to “Celebrating Nothing” below. Check it out for yourself, press materials call the song "a seamless amalgam of ethereal alternative pop, shoegaze warmth, and industrial hip-hop grit." Phantogram worked with co-producer John Hill (Santigold, MIA) in Los Angeles to record the EP.

Then get psyched for Phantogram on Jimmy Fallon later this week, they'll perform the song “Black Out Days” on Thursday, Oct. 3. Their tour includes some dates with Future Island, check out a fresh set of Phantogram tour dates at their website.
