The Growlers are influenced by 60's California rock and the garage phenomenon/revival that's happening right now. They hail from Long Beach, so the sunny California vibe is in their blood. Their song “Humdrum Blues” is from their upcoming EP Gilded Pleasures, and is a great modern throwback to an era you might see as a flashback in an episode of The Sopranos.

Droney keyboards, "working class logic" and a sound that could find a home in the mid-1960s all get reformulated into pop gems that sound like music that nobody else is making right now. If you dig this, check em’ out on their website or Tumblr.
