FaltyDL does his take on a Red Bull Music Academy Fireside Chat. He fuses elements of dub, techno, house, hip hop and more into a smooth blend of beats and influences. It's always wide-ranging and interesting to listen to.
He goes over his theory on how to submit demos to a recording label, and when to favor quantity over quality. He also goes into how the mid-90's British music scene and Warp Records influenced him; and how he eventually discovered that while Americans were listening to British music, the Brits were were listening to American music and they two sides of the Atlantic were echoing and translating sounds back and forth to each other. Check out the interview in full, alongside his music.
