Live and loud -- and jangly and rambling too. "Chairs In The Dark" from White Fence is a tight workout of punk energy channeled through a more slacker kind of stance. The vocals sound like there's a bit of Dylan or Kurt Vile in their laid-back approach, although the music is distinctly more indie rock. It was played live  in San Francisco at Amnesia, and is part of an aptly but somewhat blandly and literally tiled Live In San Francisco.

Castle Face Records said “Recorded live at Amnesia San Francisco with a Tascam 388 by John Dwyer, Chris Woodhouse, Eric Bauer, and Bob Marshall. Off the upcoming LP "Live In San Francisco", first of a series of recorded-to-tape live sets by our favorite ear-rippers presented along with fancy film photos of the evening in a handsome black and white package.”
