The new Dead Weather album won't arrive until 2015, but the first single will be "Open Up (That's Enough)" with the b-side "Rough Detective." The single will be available on Jan. 17 via Third Man Records Vault subscription. Check out a stream of the the a-side track "Open Up (That's Enough)" below.

The band went to lengths on their website to explain that these songs are not your average outakes or dicarded material that didn't make the cut to the album, saying These songs are not throw-aways. These songs are not demos. These songs are not outtakes. The 7" will be pressed on striking yellow jacket vinyl and coupled with a custom glue-pocket picture sleeve, a slight shift from the Vault's usual die-cut company sleeves. This 7" will ONLY be available via Vault subscription and no other 7" of these songs will be made.

The current lineup for Dead Weather on the new single and album is Jack White, Alison Mosshart (The Kills), Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age), and Jack Lawrence (Raconteurs).
