Nokia Music has made a smart move in converting its music service from only being available to Nokia customers to being an open web model available to anyone. Now called MixRadio, the service focuses on a premium model, only allowing 30 second previews of songs until a membership is purchased.

TheNextWeb calls out how MixRadio is still continuing the promise of Nokia Musci and making smart recommendations based on what you like, saying "Yet there’s more than just a new name here (music.nokia.com now redirects to the brand new mixrad.io). The service now focuses on mixes; the Windows Phone app has gained a Play Me feature that offers you a “personalized mix” based on your “unique music profile.”"
