Baltimore experimental electro pop band Future Islands have just signed to classic label 4AD for a new album titled Singles. It's the band's fourth album overall, and they have a past history with the Chicago-based experimental label Thrill Jockey. Future Islands will tour this year, with almost 40 shows already booked. 4AD will release the album on March 24/25, and is about "Herring's deeply poetic tales of heartbreak, love, and loss are finally up front and in high fidelity, thanks in part to a newfound creative partnership with producer Chris Coady (Beach House, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Grizzly Bear)" according their recording label.
