Indie rock heroes The National just laid out a set of shows for the spring, a tour that's likely expand into the summer months as they add more dates. The shows mostly feature The National playing April, and includes shows with Daughter, Warpaint, and Portugal. The Man. The tour is supporting last year's release of the Trouble Will Find Me, and album that was heavily included in year-end album lists. Trouble Will Find Me as a documentary made a run of film festivals like the Tribeca Film Festival, and will go live on iTunes and make a run of the theaters starting on March 28.

They're also playing a bunch of shows in Europe and Australia too.
The press materials say that the documentary is "about two brothers, Matt and Tom Berninger. Matt, the lead singer of the critically acclaimed rock band The National, finally finds himself flush with success. His younger brother Tom is a loveable slacker - a filmmaker and metal-head still living with his parents in Cincinnati. On the eve of The National's biggest tour to date, Matt invites Tom to work for the band as a roadie, unaware of Tom's plan to film the entire adventure. What starts as a rock documentary quickly becomes a crowd-pleasing journey about family, ambition, and the creative process."
