David Kennedy a.k.a. Pearson Sound returns with an experimental new single called “Raindrops.” The SoundCloud embed above plays some of the first and the second version. Lots of blips in the first one, played as an almost scale upwards, create a sense of upward trajectory or rising higher. It's almost hypnotic and mantra-like, the second goes in reverse and with a downward scale and more varied approach. An interesting creative concept for an a side and b side combination. It's from the 7" vinyl (also digital) that will be released via his own Pearson Sound label on Feb. 3.
