Here's the (fat, fat) skinny on the new Echo And The Bunnymen album: it's titled Meteorites and was produced by Killing Joke bassist Youth. The band has changed from the album's working title of The Garden of Meedin and will be announcing a release date and tour on Wednesday, Feb. 26. It will be the follow up the Echo and the Bunnymen's 2009 album The Fountain. That's the new album cover up above.

The band posted this to Facebook: "We are very excited to announce that the brand new studio album produced by Youth (The Verve, Embrace etc) is nearing completion and that a title and artwork are decided plus a full European tour already booked. US dates to follow. Ian feels it's the bands best work for a very long time."
