The U.K. has a lot of festivals. For
such a small territory, they probably
have the highest number of music festivals
per capita in the world. So why should
Wales be deprived? Enter the Green
Man Festival.
On the food side, check out the new-Pagan
organicness, and I quoteth from their
web site: "a whole new range of vegetarian
and meat stalls, from Paella and Organic
hamburgers, through to fresh vegetables,
salads and Mexican dishes."
Green
Man is using their new venue, Glanusk
Park Estate. It's set in a lush green
backdrop next to the Sugar Loaf mountain
range. Nice. There will be a DJ tent to
get down and workshops in science (?),
film, and literature.
The Flaming Lips have been named as the headliners for Saturday Night at the Green Man Festival in 2010. They have not announced a line up yet, check back for more details.
