It should seem no surprise that the All Tomorrow's Parties people would eventually set up camp in New York.

Filmmaker Jim Jarmusch has been tapped to curate the Sunday portion of the 2010 New York All Tomorrow's Parties Festival. He's already chosen a number of acts, including Vivian Girls, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Wooden Shjips and more.

2008 was the My Bloody Valentine-curated version of the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in New York: Bob Mould, Sonic Boom, Le Volume Courbe, Gemma Hayes, and The Wounded Knees. ATP added Les Savy Fav, Alexander Tucker, and Apse.

In 2009, The Flaming Lips were tapped to guest curate the Sunday show, allowing them to choose about 15 acts to play alongside them.

The Criterion Collection, curators of their own fine collection of DVD releases, oversaw part of the ATP film festival in 2009, and will continue in 2010.

The ATP New York festival for 2010 is set for September 3-5 at Kutshers Country Club in Monticello, NY.
